Profile:

Prof. Jarvo is one of the active chemists in her field. She was the recipient of the ACS Women in Chemistry Committee Rising Star Award (2014). The focus of her research group is the development of new reactions using organometallic catalysts and application of these transformations in complex target-oriented synthesis. Her research group is also the member of the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at UC Irvine and collaborates with some research groups to test their new compounds for growth inhibitory effect against some cancer cell lines.
