ITbM's new overseas PI, Prof. Wolf Frommer receives the Humboldt Professorship
ITbM's new overseas PI, Prof. Wolf Frommer (Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf, Max Planck Institute for Breeding Research, Köln) has been selected to receive the Humboldt Professorship.
The Humboldt Professorship is granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and finances the professorship for the first five years with an award amount is 3.5 million EUR for researchers in theoretical disciplines and 5 million EUR for those conducting experimental research. The programme is financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
