Professor Shigehiro Yamaguchi, Vice-Director of ITbM has been selected as a Merck-Karl Pfister Visiting Professor
Professor Shigehiro Yamaguchi, Vice-Director of ITbM has been selected as a 2017-2018 Merck-Karl Pfister Visiting Professor by MIT.
This professorship has been established in 1964 from the sponsorship by Merck Research Laboratories. The name of this lectureship award originates from Merck's research director, Dr. Pfister, who received a Ph.D. degree from MIT, and the award invites famous organic chemists from around the world as visiting professors of the university.
Professor Yamaguchi's lecture will be held at MIT on March 15, 2018.
