ITbM's Infinitene named as Molecule of the Year in Chemistry & Engineering News
Readers of American science magazine Chemistry & Engineering News have chosen Infinitene, a new nanocarbon molecule developed by ITbM researchers, as their Molecule of the Year 2021.
The discovery of Infinitene was published in Journal of the American Chemical Society as the paper 'Infinitene: A Helically Twisted Figure-Eight [12]Circulene Topoisomer' by Maciej Krzeszewski, Hideto Ito and Kenichiro Itami.
