Gene inhibition method for pollen tubes using oligonucleotides

Abstract:

Professor Tetsuya Higashiyama and Dr. Yoko Mizuta developed a gene inhibition method for Arabidopsis pollen tubes using phosphorothioate antisense oligonucleotide. This method is expected to have application as a non-genetically modified method for the breeding of plants.
