Prof. Jin-Quan Yu is widely recognized as one of the leading chemists in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, especially selective C-H functionalization. In recent years, he has been reporting his scientific results in high impact journals, such as Nature, Science, and Angewandte Chemie. He is also a member of ITbM's partner institute, the Center for Selective C-H Functionalization, National Science Foundation, USA (NSF-CCHF). In this seminar, he will talk about the application and potential for selective C-H functionalization reactions.
