Date: 2015/5/11, Mon. 16:00〜17:30
Venue: Lecture Hall, Noyori Materials Science Laboratory 2nd Floor
Speaker: Dr. Mark S. Taylor (Associate Professor, University of Toronto, Canada)
Title: "Noncovalent and Reversible Covalent Interactions: Fundamental Studies and New Applications"
Language: English
Summary:
Prof. Taylor is a young and active organic chemist who is interested in synthetic methodology, molecular recognition and chemical sensing. His current work includes new applications of unexplored non-covalent and reversible covalent interactions in selective catalysis. He received several awards including the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Research Fellowship (2012) and Boehringer Ingelheim Canada Young Investigator Award (2011).Links:
