If there are no opportunities but are interested in working with us, please contact us with your CV and a short cover letter, explaining why you’re interested in our research. Please check out the resources below for potential fellowships. We value inclusivity and diversity in our lab and anyone who has a passion for sciences is welcome.

Within Japan

  • JSPS fellowship can be applied if you are a permanent resident, or a citizen of Japan. Deadlines and calls may vary from year to year so please have a look
  • Nagoya University also has the YLC program if you are eligible.
  • If you are an undergraduate at a Japanese University and would like to experience lab experience during summer break, please contact me and send your CV and we can go through available options.

    • Outside of Japan

  • The JSPS has a fellowship for international researchers. Again, deadlines can vary so please check and if you are interested, please contact us.
  • The HSFP also has fellowships available. If you are eligible and if you think your proposal will be a good fit for the lab, please contact us.
  • Foreign researchers can also apply for the YLC program. Please check the deadline and eligibility carefully.
  • If you are an undergraduate from outside of Japan and would like to experience lab experience during summer break, please contact me and send your CV and we can go through available options.
