What is RPD?

ITbM’s Research Promotion Division (RPD) is a new kind of organization never before seen in universities, flexibly and precisely supporting the ever-changing requirements of inter-disciplinary research using schemes which seamlessly transmit ideas from the minds of researchers to the public. Through discussions with researchers, obtaining research funding, intellectual property and technology transfer to name just a few, RPD employs a myriad of methods to break down barriers between research fields and support and communicate with researchers at each stage of their research, promoting ITbM’s globalization and achievements and their social implementation and reception.

The seamless and accurate handling of press releases, intellectual property and social implementation through RPD’s flexible research promotion scheme allows the budding ideas for ITbM’s inter-disciplinary research to grow in our researchers’ minds and bear fruit without interruption. With science design, PR and intellectual property at the heart of our scheme, our members use their skills in these fields to create a system that allows them to work in close communication with researchers.

Past success, future outlook

In the 9 years since the scheme was established, ITbM has achieved a huge amount. Our body of fusion research work continues to grow and grow. Looking forward, we believe that simplifying our core message and engaging in information gathering and networking to foster new talent will be key to our success in the competitive world of international research.
