Call for application to GTR program (2022)
Graduate Program of Transformative Chem-Bio Research (GTR Program), Nagoya University, is inviting first semester of PhD students who entered in 2022 to apply for the program as follows.
If you are planning to enter the doctoral program, please consider to apply for this program.
※The selection for autumn entrants will be held in November.
If you will enter the Master's program in October, please discuss with your supervisor and decide when to apply in spring or autumn.

[Application Method]
Eligibility for Application
Students who entered (will enter) the Master's Program in Nagoya University in April (or October) 2022 and planning to advance to the doctoral program.
※Graduate Schools and Departments, and Group inviting applications:
・Graduate School of Science (Department of Natural Science (Group of Chemistry, Group of Biology))
・Graduate School of Engineering(Department of Molecular and Macromolecular Chemistry/Department of Materials Chemistry/Department of Biomolecular Engineering)
・Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences
・Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Application period
The 1st application period:April 1, 2021〜17:00 on May 27, 2022
The 2nd application Period:June 1, 2021〜17:00 on July 29, 2022
※Due to the number of applicants reached, it has been decided that the second round of applications will not be conducted.
We will make another announcement regarding the application for students enrolling in the fall of this year.

Please send the 2.application form and 3.applicant information to GTR students support office via email by May 27 at 17:00.

※Please submit the signed application form in PDF format and the applicant information in Excel format.
※You may submit a printed copy of the application form directly to the GTR student support office(理学部B館217室/B-217, Science B Building)
※If you do not receive the receipt notification within two business days or by May 27, 2022, it is possible that we have not received your application. Please contact the GTR student support office(gtr@itbm.nagoya- u.ac.jp)
Selection
Selection is carried out based on reviewing the application documents and interviews.
Schedule
17:00 on May 27:deadline for submission of applications
Early June (tentative): Interview (about 10 minutes.)
June 2022: Results Notification
July 2022: Successful applicants will start RA support (83,000 yen/month).
※RA support for fall entrants begins after enrollment (in October).
※RA support for students prior to coming to Japan starts after their first day at university.
