From 16:00 on May 23rd, Dr. Ulrich F. J. Mayer (Mayer Scientific Editing) will give a lecture on practical techniques for writing chemistry-related papers in English.

The lecture will focus on the most important practical aspects of writing a chemistry-related research paper.
I will talk about the most important points regarding title, abstract, main text, conclusions, and references.
Within the section main text, I will expand a bit on writing style, i.e., from general to specific, from simplicity to complexity.
I will also cover when to best use present tense, past tense, and present perfect, as well as when it is advantageous to use the active or the passive voice.
It will discuss when to best use use/utilize, which/that, and countable/uncountable nouns (e.g., technology vs. technologies, reactivity vs. reactivities) I will also talk about the most important points regarding writing a cover letter and a cover letter in response to reviewer requests.

If you wish to take Fundamental Course II, in addition to registering at application google form, you must also register in the GTR e-portfolio by deadline and submit a report by the deadline in the format specified by GTR in TACT.
Those who request individual corrections and have submitted their thesis abstracts will be exempted from having to submit a report.
