"GTR NEXT-GENERATION LECTURE" Science Graphic Design
【Contents】
The design skills are required to communicate clearly and attractively in
many situations when proposing and reporting research ideas and results.
In this course, participants will learn basic design principles and techniques
for effective research communication while creating graphics using design
software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dimension, Autodesk Maya, etc.).
Session 1: 3DCG modeling (software : Autodesk Maya)
Session 2: 3DCG rendering and graphic layout
(Software: Adobe Dimension, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Session3：Presentation and critique of the work
【Grading method】
Evaluation based on attendance and submitted assignment
【Note】
Bring a PC with the following design software installed
- Autodesk Maya, Education plan (free for students)
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dimension (※The free trial version is valid
for only 7 days. Participants should install the software at the appropriate
time and make it available on the class day (Session 1&2))
