Regarding the fire on 7/25 (Tue.)

As you may know from media reports, a fire occurred at our institute in the early morning of July 25. We sincerely apologize for any concern this may have caused.

The fire occurred in our office space. Fortunately no one was injured, and there was no damage to experimental equipments or chemicals.

Currently, research activities are being resumed while proceeding with the cleanup.

We will continue to strengthen our safety measures to prevent a recurrence. We appreciate your continued support.
