Designated Associate Professor Yohei Takahashi Receives the 10th Bioindustry Encouragement Award

Dr. Yohei Takahashi, Designated Associate Professor at the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules (ITbM), has been selected as one of the recipients of the 10^th Bioindustry Encouragement Awards from the Japan Bioindustry Association (JBA).

The research recognized by this award is titled "Identification and Application of the Carbon Dioxide Sensing Machinery in Plant Stomata."

The Bioindustry Encouragement Award was established in 2017 by the JBA to commemorate its 30th anniversary. The Encouragement Award recognizes promising early-career researchers and their achievements in application-oriented research related to bioscience and biotechnology.

The award ceremony and commemorative lecture will be held on Wednesday, October 7, at BioJapan 2026, an international biotechnology event, at Pacifico Yokohama.
